WHO ARE WE? - In early 1990 a real estate broker and his wife, a jewelry & accessory designer, saw the need for a 7-day a week indoor marketplace for artist and crafters to market their products. Much time was spent visiting with potential dealers discussing what features a market of this type would need. After months of research and prayerful consideration Hearts & Hands opened in June of 1990. This department store filled with the creations and finds of over 250 dealers from many states has sold millions of dollars worth of unique arts, crafts, antiques and gift items since opening. Today, Hearts & Hands has a successful location in the 4th largest retail market in America, HOUSTON, TEXAS. The reason for our success is simple - Quality Service, Quality Merchandise, Quality Marketing and a Quality Location.

SERVICE - We operate your store and sell for you 7 days a week. Our staff has many years of craft mall experience. Exemplary customer service is a must. Small things, like recognizing customers as they enter the store, using their names when possible and going the extra mile to assist in finding exactly what they are looking for are important. State of the art check and credit card processing with no risk of loss to you. We collect and pay all sales tax. Layaways, gift certificates and special orders are just a few of the special services offered. Computerized central checkout with daily online sales reports. Sensormatic security system and in store security cameras. A staff dedicated to your success.

MARKETING - Innovative and fun describes Hearts & Hands advertising and marketing programs. We utilize a variety of media to effectively reach new customers and make every effort to turn them into loyal repeat shoppers. We are diligent in developing and maintaining our direct mail and E-Mail lists with frequent customer contact. A variety of other media, including newspaper, trade publications, frequent buyer cards, etc., are utilized. Throughout the year special events take place to enhance dealer sales. Our biggest one day event is the October Anniversary Sale.

LOCATIONS - Our 12,000+ square foot mall is strategically located in a high traffic area with quality co-tenants like Radio Shack, 99 Cent Store, Jason's Deli, CVS pharmacy and others. We've done our research, Hearts & Hands is situated in the high income, heavily populated West Houston area. Front door parking and back door loading and unloading for convenience. Customers have easy access to our mall. We are located right next to interstate 10 facing Mason road.

COST - A monthly space rental charge (as low as $13.00 per month) and a minimal service fee on items sold. Dealers are paid monthly and provided with a complete detailed listing of sales, updated online daily. Where else can you have a store and not have to be there.
